Back to work skills at food factory
YOUNG people gained back-to-work skills at a visit to Greencore Food to Go, Evercreech, on Monday as part of a nationwide campaign to tackle youth unemployment.
As part of Feeding Britain’s Future – Skills for Work Month 2013, the young people had CV and interview sessions with the company’s learning and development manager to help them develop their employability skills and improve their chances of getting a job.
All participants also had a tour of a dessert factory at Greencore which creates range of Marks and Spencer desserts, and took part in a taste panel. They also learned how the business is run and the wide range of careers available.
