A whaley great tale about relationships
I love The Forever Whale because it is a lovely detailed story about a girl called Hannah and her Grandad.
He has an illness called Alzheimer's that makes him forget things. One day he asks Hannah to come with him to see a whale, but then he forgets. Hannah tries to find out what he meant. My favourite part in the book was when Hannah went to a place called Fern Island and met an old lady who told her a story about the deer there.
I would recommend this book to girls aged nine and over. I love all Sarah Lean's books but this one is my favourite.
