It made summer great for families
I THOROUGHLY agree with Julians' comments about the Gromit trail. I wasn't particularly bothered about them either. But caring for my grandchildren twice a week soon changed all that. The first ones we found were local to us at Cribbs Causeway... the delight on the little ones faces when they found each one was magical.
My four-year-old grandson can tell you all their names and was thrilled when we went to London to find our last and 80th Gromit.
It has inspired us to tour our wonderful city more in the future as we went to places we wouldn't have gone to otherwise.
I must mention all the friendly people we met on the way. The smiles on their faces seemed to say that this trail has made the school holidays a lot more interesting for their families.
I also would like to thank all who made it possible. It will be a lasting memory of a beautiful summer.
