"The family has got to do so many things and meet so many people on the back of this, it has been a rollercoaster ride.

"Logan and his sister, Tamsin, have now written a letter to the Queen in their best handwriting and we hope she will accept the torch as a gift.

"The last selling day was an emotional day for me. I knew this day would come, but when it arrived reality well and truly set in.

"I absolutely love what everyone has achieved with supporting and donating in whatever way they can.

"I have loved the extremely kind words that they have all given me and my family over the last few months as it has helped me continue Logan's Torch journey for this long and it has made me appreciate my family so much more than I already did.

"We have been blessed to have been able to help such a wonderful charity and have been welcomed with open arms by everyone.

"The main thing, though, is that without everyone who supported this, none of it would ever have been possible, so I thank everyone so much from the bottom of my heart."

In her letter to the Queen, Tamsin wrote: "Dear Our Royal Highness, I really hope you enjoy Logan's Olympic Torch. It is very broken in parts because it's been travelling for a long time.

"We love you with all our hearts and we would really like to meet you please. We've got our best uniform ready to wear, just in case we're going to see you. With all our hearts, Tamsin and the wonderful Logan."
