For once their infamous haircuts weren't the biggest protrusions in sight. The famous stalagmites at Cheddar Gorge caves towered over former The X-Factor stars John and Edward Grimes' golden locks. The dim-witted duo were at the Somerset attraction to film an episode of Jedward's Big Adventure for CBBC. The show will air in December

“It was lovely to see John and Edward in Somerset, But I do take issue with "Dim-witted duo" they are probably the least dim witted pair of lads I have even had the good fortune to encounter, these talented twins direct, film and edit most of their own music videos, design their own clothes and stage sets, even write their own music on instruments they play to a high level ...you should maybe take a look at their Young Love video or Johns cover of hall of fame on their YouTube channel JedwardTV”

“Nice piece, but I'd just like to point out that John and Edward are in no way "dim-witted". Quite to the contrary, they are among the smartest people I have ever met, and I know a lot of highly educated people. For the sake of alliteration, you chose to mock them - why? You could have gone with "Dapper-Duo", "Dynamic-Duo", or even, if you wanted to gently poke fun at them, "Duracell Duo"...Never ever question their intelligence. No. Really.”
