Get into the Swing with Pitch & Putt and Mini Golf

The 9-hole Pitch and Putt course has fairways ranging from

30-75 yards and raised level greens. Steer clear of the

strategically placed bunkers though! The Mini Golf course is

ideal for younger players or anyone trying golf for the first time.

Please pay and collect your clubs in The Galley Refreshments Kiosk.

Create your own adventure at the Flagship Playspace.

The adventure themed playspace allows children to use their

imagination whilst playing on their own or with others. We have

created an innovative playspace that incorporates the ideas

of the children who were consulted at the design stage, and

includes a shipwreck and an aerial zipline.

Football and Rugby Pitches and the

Jon O’Donnell Pavilion

The Recreation Centre has an array of football and rugby pitches

available, including five full size pitches and three 7-a-side mini

pitches. Pitch hire comes with access to the Jon O’Donnell

Pavilion, with its team, official and disabled changing rooms.

Public toilets are open during the day

Play Sport for FREE at Yeovil Rec

The MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) provides a free space

to play football, basketball and even cricket all year round.

It’s ideal for a quick practice on your own or with friends.

Two tennis courts are located at the far end of the Athletics

Arena. During the summer (April to October) the courts will

be open for FREE access – there’s no need to book.

Worn out from all that activity? Or perhaps you just want to

have a sit down and relax?

The Galley sells hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice cream!

This is also where you buy tickets for Pitch & Putt, Mini Golf

and casual Athletics.

Tennis/Netball Courts

Two courts are available free of charge throughout the year. During the Winter (October to March) the courts can be booked for Netball. This incurs a charge and must be pre-booked.
