The Community Resource Service has everything you need to be creative all under one roof. Our Artshop and Scrapstore are like an Aladdin's cave of affordable art materials and clean reuseable business materials - you can turn waste things into crafty things. We are open to everyone – we just require a one-off £1 membership fee. We also hire out play, sports, craft and general equipment to members and community groups.

Art Shop

Feeling Creative? Our Art Shop has everything you need at a price to suit your budget. We have a huge range of stock including: coloured paper and card, pens, crayons, paints, glue, fabric paint, dyes, scissors, feathers, felt, glass paint, plaster of paris and moulds, rubbers, clay, staplers, string, tissue paper, wiggly eyes and everything for card making and much much more...

We also stock the items you need for a wide range of creative ideas such as card making, rubber stamping, jewellery making and children's art and crafts.

Don't forget we also stock wide range of fabric including polyester cotton, polyester taffeta, denim, lycra, fleece, cotton jersey and other fabrics suitable for all types of projects.

Scrap Store

Every year we recycle more than 30 tonnes of clean, re-useable business materials that would have otherwise gone to landfill. We've got hundreds of weird and wonderful items that you won't find in any shops! Make an environmentally friendly work of art from a wide range of materials including paper, card, plastic, foam, wood and fabric. The possibilities are endless...

The Scrapstore offers community groups and individuals the opportunity to save money and promote the re-use of waste materials in creative arts and play. If you are working on a project our friendly staff are here to help you to source the scrap materials you need. The types of scrap available are always changing and we are unable to guarantee which items are available so regular trips are advised!
