It's official: Frome is a cool place to live
It’s official. Frome is the sixth coolest place to live in the UK, according to a national newspaper.
The Times reported in today's newspaper that the town was popular with several celebrities who had moved to the area, such as fashion designer Pearl Lowe, folk singer Cara Dillon and Grand Designs presenter, Kevin McCloud.

It said Pearl regularly raves about the town’s cool vintage stores and summer markets.
And with hip Bruton just down the road and trendy hangout Babington House a stone's throw from the town, what more could the town ask for?

It stated that house prices ranged from £350,000 for a period family home to just under £250,000 for a terraced property.
Other town and cities that featured in the top ten included Hebden Bridge, in Yorkshire, which took the top spot, Folkestone, in Kent, which came fifth and Kelvingrove, in Glasgow, which came eighth in the poll.
Glastonbury came in at 27 and Montpelier, in Bristol, entered the chart at 30.
