He's given manure a bad name
David Heathcoat-Amory has bought horse manure into disrepute. He secretly purchased hundreds of bags of the stuff using tax payers money.
When he was found out he paid back the cash like a naughty child caught with his hands in his mother's purse.
He should stand down or be deselected.
There was no need for this to happen if he'd done what normal people do. Either go round to their local stable with a wheel barrow and shovel and buy some, or scrape the moist brown stuff off the road where it's regularly deposited by passing horses for free.
Unfortunately he's not a normal person but instead he's an MP.
If he doesn't resign, then he could face ignominious defeat in the next election by somebody normal, somebody who won't bring horse manure into disrepute.
