Ashworth and Howe will use the meeting to help their comebacks from injury which prematurely ended their 2012 campaigns.
Ashworth rode for Birmingham Brummies and Berwick Bandits this summer, while Howe appeared for Kings Lynn Stars and Scunthorpe Scorpions.

Lambert rode for Leicester Lions, Rye House Rockets and Stoke Potters in 2012.
“When asked, all three jumped at the chance to race in the meeting,” said meeting co-ordinator Garry May.
"Ricky and David saw it as an ideal opportunity to get some competitive track time ahead of the new season, given the lay-off they both suffered last season.
"In saying that, they have both made it clear that they are not treating the meeting as some sort of glorified practice session, but are determined to go all out to get their hands on the winner’s cheque."
May said the Rebels were also offering several sponsorship packages for the festive meeting at the Highbridge circuit.
“Since first announcing that we will be staging the meeting we have been contacted by a number of riders eager to take part," he said.
"Offers of both rider and heat sponsorship have started to come in. People can sponsor a rider for £50, for which they will receive the rider's race jacket duly signed by their rider, with heat sponsorship being set at £25.
“We have made one change to the format of the being from that originally announced in that we will now be having a Grand Final for the top four scorers after the 20 heats have been completed to bring the meeting to a climax.”
Tickets will cost £16 for adults, £12 for concessions and £4 for juniors aged between 12 and 16. Children aged 11 and under will get in for free if accompanied by a paying adult (maximum of two children per adult).
Family tickets, for two adults and two juniors, will also be available for £36.
