As for the restaurant itself, the previous review is correct... it is almost like being welcomed into someone's house. And not in a bad way, you don't feel like you're imposing, but are made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff. I will definitely be going back. ”

Unique and fun
“The Old Bear is a very unique restaurant, well worth popping into and choosing to go to for an evening instead of the usual chain restaurants. The food is lovely and very expertly cooked, but the best thing about this place is the welcoming staff and the general atmosphere the decor and the close-knit setting make it feel as though youre sat in someones house, being served delicious home-cooked food.”
