Thanks for recommendation

Thank you Nailsea People for recommending that we tried the cuisine at The New Inn Backwell. My wife Ann and I dined there last night, and were very well satisfied with the whole experience. From the moment we arrived, until the end of the evening, we were made welcome by the friendly Staff and felt very comfortable in the pleasant surroundings. Although a cut above most 'pub' dining experiences, it has to be said that the furnishing and lay out of both the bar, and the dining room, are in themselves, a good reason for customers to remember their visit with pleasure. As for the food, quite simply it was delicious. The menu changes from time to time, and we understand that careful consideration is always given by the chef. We gained the impression that whatever dish we selected, the preparation of the food would have been of a very high and attractive standard. As the restaurant was not busy, we were spoiled for adequate attention to our needs. We will definitely go to the New Inn again. Derrick Lovering, Clevedon

    Essex man dines in Backwell

“There is a really good review about The New Inn at http://bit.ly/eRDhSD which is well worth reading before you venture along the A370. Nailsea People intend to dine at the upmarket pub later this month and will then post a review straight from the horse's mouth - so to speak! ”

    Amazing food and dining experience

“From the outside, this place looks like any pub, but its not until you take a step inside that you realise just how great this pub/restaurant is.

In my opinion, I would say this place is a mix between a fine dining restaurant and one of those new age pubs which breathes an informal yet chilled out ambience throughout.

All the cuisine, traditionally British and some French, really is exquisite. The layout of the place was really quite impressive too - modern in decor but has a really pleasant country feel to it.

After our meal, we could really sense that their is a real passion for food because everything was so well presented and the arrangements of this place make you feel as those your in the a fine country restaurant.

I really think next time me and my wife return to Nailsea, we will ensure we come and visit again because we had a really enjoyable evening here.”
