The Clutton A37 Puffin crossing became operational today.

The cost was in the region of £100,000 is this the way our Council spend our hard earned cash.

It would be interesting to see how many pedestrians will use it and how many will simply cross when the traffic is light or none existent?

    “I sense sour grapes from Steve Willcox.

    Regardless of who will use it, it is there for the safety of the public. At least you can now say the council have extended their efforts into making the roads safer. It the public does not use it, you can't blame the council for that. Would you rather children ran the risk of running across the road every day? Or have them cross at a proper crossing.”
