Nailsea dance fundraiser for Peru trip
Nailsea School pupil Rosie Steel, 17, is heading to the South American country in the summer on a trip of a lifetime.
And to help raise funds for the trip she has enlisted the help of fellow dancers from the Adele Stitch School of Dance.
She has arranged a dance extravaganza at Nailsea School next Sunday titled Performance for Peru.
Rosie, who is in the lower-sixth form, is among 15 pupils from the school going on the three-week challenge to Peru.
She said: "During our three week adventure we will trek across mountains, one of them being Machu Picchu.
"We hope to take a helicopter across the Nazca Lines and we will go white water rafting.
"A week of our time will be spent at Lake Titicaca where we will work as volunteers at the local primary school.
"The trip will be such an amazing experience and I can't wait to go."
She added others going on the trip will be selling cakes and drinks during the interval to raise further funds.
There are two performances, at 2 and 5pm, and tickets cost £5 for adults, £4 concessions.
