What would you like to see on town's showfield?
Families can have their say on what they want on the Frome showfield.
Frome Town Council and Vision for Frome are spearheading a survey to ask people how the showfield could be enhanced to encourage more people to use the space near the heart of the town.
The survey is part of a five-year plan to improve and enhance the area spending in excess of £35,000.
The showfield is owned by Frome Agricultural Society. The new Frome Community Hospital and the health centre, to be opened in the new year, are now situated on part of the space and the local health authority has promised funds for adult fitness equipment. But both the town council and Vision for Frome want to find out what else could help enhance the area.

To help gather views two Frome residents, Clare Hein and Neil Oliver, will be out and about over the next two weeks asking residents and users of the showfield what they think. People can also have their say by logging on to Frome Town Council's website at www.frome-tc.gov.uk/ and answer four questions.
Ms Hein has already been busy talking to people on the showfield.
Suggestions so far have been a paddling pool, more trees for shade and picnics and more playground equipment for the younger ones.
Ms Hein and Mr Oliver will be hosting a drop in session at Frome Cricket Club on Thursday, October 4 from 4.30-6pm and a further session that evening from 7.30-9pm.
