Taunton Town conceded three goals in the final quarter to lose by an unrealistically harsh 3-0 margin on a bitterly cold night at Didcot Town.

Their best chance came after 67 minutes when Scott Rogers released Craig Herrod with a brilliant pass, but Marco Belolli-Periera saved.

Didcot took the lead just thirty seconds later, Haysham pouncing on a slip by Alex Jeannin and rounding Thompson to convert from a narrowing angle.

Mark Janes wrapped up the points on 79 minutes converting low centre from the left by Morgan Williams.

Elliott Osborne-Ricketts then gave the scoreline a very unfair reflection when he picked himself off the floor to rap home an 86th minute penalty after being tripped by Owen Irish.
