No horse meat in Yeovil District Hospital food
PATIENTS and visitors to Yeovil District Hospital have been assured no horse meat or DNA are present in any of the food it serves.
A statement issued by the hospital said urgent meetings were held with the companies who provide food to the trust.

It continued: "They have reassured us that recent tests show that no horse meat or DNA are present in any of their products. They have also confirmed they do not trade with any of the companies implicated in the current crisis.
"The catering suppliers we work with carry out extensive and regular testing of raw material and through their supply chain and we are confident that food served at Yeovil District is safe and correctly labelled."

Somerset County Council said last week it was liaising with all schools in the county to ensure food served to students is safe.
A spokeswoman said: "We are unaware that there are any issues with school meals in Somerset.
"We are liaising with schools and catering contractors to make sure that the food chain to Somerset schools is safe."
