The girls also achieved fantastic results, with Emily MacDonald from Weston-super-Mare gaining 3A*, 7A and 2 B grades, and Libby Coates from Cheddar being awarded 3A*, 6A and 2 B grades.
Congratulating the students and staff, head teacher John Walmsley, said: "These are very good results which complement our fantastic results at A Level and International Baccalaureate. We are a non selective school and the grades are a testimony to our student's efforts and self esteem.
"Believing in yourself and feeling valued are the key elements to success in education, and once again our boys show no sign of not achieving the success of girls, as is the national picture. At Sidcot, boys always do at least as well as their female colleagues and this year they have managed to pip the girls to the top position."
