Frome Stop the War Campaign is very pleased to be hosting three expert speakers in the field of war reporting, political analysis and media trends and biases in reporting of wars and interventions. The event will be held at Rook Lane Chapel, Bath Street, Frome on Thursday 7th February at 7.30p.m.

The speakers are former Vietnam War reporter and former Associate Foreign Editor of the Guardian, Victoria Brittain, Professor David Miller who co-founded the website SpinWatch and lectures in sociology at Bath University and Dan Glazebrook political analyst and journalist who writes for the Guardian, Counterpunch, New Statesman, Morning Star and others and is a frequent contributor to Russian Today.

Victoria is a patron of the Palestine Support Campaign, has reported from the Middle East and Asia and has worked as consultant to the United Nations on the effect of war on women. She is an author and playwright. She will be signing copies of her latest book 'Shadow Lives, The Forgotten Women of the War on Terror'.

Professor Miller has co-authored several books and will be signing copies of two, 'A Century of Spin' and 'Thinker, Faker, Spinner, Spy'.
