Come and participate in the annual Taunton Junior Aquathlon (swimming and running event) with entrants aged 8-16 years from local schools and clubs. The event is organised by Somerset RC Triathlon Club, sponsored by Foot Anstey Solicitors and fully insured by the British Triathlon Federation. The event is held at Queens College, Taunton at a cost of £6 per person. There is a T-shirt and medal for every entrant and age category prizes for boys and girls.

Distances:
8yrs: 80 yard swim and 600m run
9/10 yrs: 160 yard swim and 1500m run
11/12 yrs: 280 yard swim and 2000m run
13/14 yrs: 400 yard swim and 3000m run
15/16 yrs: 500 yard swim and 4000m run

Swim takes place in Queens College pool followed by a run around the secure school fields.

The main aim of the event is to provide an affordable, fun, entry level event for children in the locality.
