"My most brilliant achievement was my ability to persuade my wife to marry me" (W. Churchill)

This is the remarkable, moving and highly entertaining story of the woman who married one of the truly great figures of the 20th century: Sir Winston Churchill. Rohan McCullough is a highly experienced actress both on stage and screen. Her most notable success has been with her one-woman shows - Testament of Youth, The Towers of Trebizond, and The Tale of Beatrix Potter - which she has performed worldwide. My Darling Clemmie is written by Hugh Whitemore, who has written extensively for stage and screen, and won various awards for his work. He received three awards for his TV film The Gathering Storm about Churchill in the 1930s. Whitemore revisits this subject for My Darling Clemmie, which is directed by Gareth Armstrong and performed by Rohan McCullough.
