Midsomer Norton's Wunderbar will be playing host to Varsity Drag, featuring founding member of The Lemonheads, Ben Deily, tonight (Thursday).

The band, completed by Lisa Deily (bass) and Josh Pickering (drums), visit the UK to promote their new album Night Owls .

After leaving the Lemonheads to complete his degree in English and American Literature, Ben graduated cum laude from Harvard University in 1994.

Since then he has worked in the advertising industry however, Ben returned to music with Varsity Drag in 2006 with For Crying Out Loud.

Varsity Drag has no plans to slow down any time soon. As Ben offers by way of explanation: "Yeah, I suppose I sometimes feel too old for this stuff – of course, I already felt too old when I was 19 – but what are you gonna do?

"Seems that people won't let me retire just yet and it's great to be writing, and playing with other people who love the same music I do."
