Three and easy for Welton Rovers in win over Keynsham Town
MATCH REPORT: Welton Rovers 3 Keynsham Town 0
Welton Rovers eased past the Toolstation League’s bottom side at West Clewes to get back to winning ways.
With captain Chris Peck leading the charge, Welton were soon on the front foot and Jack Metcalf rose above the defence to head into the side-netting.
They took the lead in the ninth minute when Dan Scrivens found Paul Banks in space and he struck a fantastic shot that roared into the far corner of the net, giving the Keynsham keeper no chance.

Welton continued to press for more goals through James Cooper and Anthony Conradi before a Scrivens screamer from Scrivens kept low and glanced the woodwork.
A rare Keynsham attack saw Ryan Ashwood’s shot saved by Andy King, while Cooper had the ball in the net, only for his effort to be ruled out for offside.
Welton doubled their advantage immediately after the restart when they stole the ball from Keynsham’s kick-off and Dan Cottle evaded the visitors’ challenges to drill home.
Keynsham were deflated and Welton launched attack after attack, with Dunk doing brilliantly to deny Tom Pawley before Conradi fired a penalty high over the bar following a foul on Cottle inside the box.
Substitute Andy Keen came on with three minutes to go and had enough time to score with an unchallenged header to round off the scoring.
