A nine-month-old baby was rescued by fire crews after becoming accidently locked in a bedroom.

Frome crews were called to an address in Keyford, last Wednesday, just after 3pm.

They used a ladder to enter the bedroom window, rescuing the baby, who was unharmed.

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Fire crews gained access to the bedroom window using a ladder and returned the child, unharmed, to its parents."
