Five fire crews fight overnight stable block fire at Yarlington
Five fire crews fought a barn blaze near Wincanton in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters from Castle Cary were initially sent to Yarlington at 12.30am following reports of a fire in a field.

On arrival, backup was requested from crews at Yeovil, Mere, Wincanton and Bridgwater after discovering that it was a stable block on fire.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said a quarter of the block was completely destroyed in the blaze, which is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
