Rheumatoid arthritis sufferers in the Bristol area can learn how to remain in work despite their condition at a workshop.

The free session is being held at Winford Manor Hotel today.

People will be given information about the support that is available.

The session, organised by the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), will give sufferers the chance to speak to experts on employment law as well as other people with the condition.

Rheumatoid arthritis affects 3,000 people of working age in Bristol and the charity hopes the workshop will help these sufferers continue in their jobs.

It can often take people months or even years to manage their symptoms effectively, which can impact on their working lives

Bristol WorkWiseWorkshop starts at 6.10pm and runs until 9pm at the Winford Manor Hotel Conference Centre Old Hill, Winford, Bristol, BS40 8DW.

To register, visit www.nras.org.uk/workwise or call 0845 458 3969.
