A classic Agatha Christie situation – one body, five suspects
Go Back For Murder, a classic Agatha Christie whodunnit based on the crime writer's novel Five Little Pigs, is being performed in Torquay with an all-star cast.
Liza Goddard (Bergerac) is governess Miss Williams, one of five suspects in the frame for killing businessman Amyas Crale, played by Peak Practice star Gary Mavers.
Amyas's wife, Caroline, was accused of his murder and died in prison. Their daughter, Carla, believes her mother was innocent and 16 years later brings together five suspects for the crime.
Playing both Carla and her mother Caroline Crale, is Sophie Ward, whose recent credits include the award-winning Land Girls.

Other suspects include Phillip Blake, one of Caroline's admirers (Robert Duncan from Drop the Dead Donkey) and Amyas's mistress Elsa Greer (Lysette Anthony, star of the BBC sitcom Three Up, Two Down).
Ben Nealon, who many will remember from his role as Capt Jeremy Forsythe from the long-running ITV drama Soldier Soldier, plays Justin Fogg, son of Caroline's defence lawyer, who acts as sleuth.
"People love a thriller, they love a murder story. I think also they know that they are going to have a good evening, because Agatha Christie writes so very well," says Liza.
Go Back For Murder is at the Princess Theatre, Torquay from September 16-21.
