'Find out why city church is special'
St Thomas's Church, Wells, is holding a drop-in "get to know the church" day on Saturday, February 23, starting at 1.30pm and finishing at 5pm, with free refreshments.
There will be talks about the building and its history as well as worksheets with a quiz for children.

There will also be a display of the church's vestments, most of them lovingly restored over the past 25 years by Margaret Ibbs.
Reverend Tobie Osmond and the congregation hope that this will be an opportunity for many people from Wells to discover some of the things which make St Thomas's special.
