Two chimney fires in Somerset
Fire crews were called to tackle two chimney fires in Somerset in the last few hours.
The first was at West Yeo Road, Burrowbridge, Bridgwater at 7.20pm last night.

Chimney fires in Bridgwater and Wincanton
Upon arrival crews set to work to put the fire out using chimney gear from the hearth.
The second was at South Cheriton, Horsington, Near Wincanton this morning.

One crew attended the fire at the end of terrace property and got to work extinguishing it using a thermal imaging camera and chimney gear working from the hearth.
As there was a woodburning stove in the hearth, crews removed register plate to gain access to the flue.
