Two children shot at as they played in Yeovil garden
Police are appealing for witnesses after two children were shot at as they played in a Yeovil garden.
The two children were playing in a garden in Mudford Road at around 6.40pm on Thursday evening when the shot was fired.

"The family heard a whistling sound and a air pellet was seen to hit a concrete post nearby," said police in a statement.
"It is believed the shot came from the area of the flats on Roping Road."

Officers have launched an investigation into the incident, and want to hear from anyone with any information.
They are particularly keen for information about people in the area in possession of an air weapon, or to hear from anyone who knows the person responsible.
