A couple soak up the sun on the beach in the bright sunshine at Weston-super-Mare yesterday, the mildest day of the year so far.
However, it may be only a taste of spring as cold air is due to come back to Britain next week. Yesterday’s hot spots were in the London area and Trawscoed in Wales, with readings of 17C.
