It's time once again to hunt for your 1980s and 90s dancing shoes, dig out the glow sticks and prepare to party hard.

Back in its heyday, Boxers and Oscars Nightclub on the Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, attracted well-known faces, as well as hundreds of teenagers from across the area.

It originated in the grounds of the showground and became a popular haunt for people across the region.

On February 9, Boxers held a reunion billed at "the party of 2013," and due its popularity - another reunion is now being planned.

Martin Weeks and Paul Chappell are organising the event for June 15 and tickets at £10 each will be available very soon at outlets in Frome, Shepton Mallet, Wells, Castle Cary and Trowbridge.

The next party is planned to be even bigger and better than the last reunion with two floors, two decades and two themes. For generations of forty and fifty-somethings from across mid-Somerset, the Boxers and Oscars nightclubs brings back very fond memories.

The event will take place at its original location in the Cheese Pavilion, on the Bath and West Showground.

You can find out more on the special Facebook page dedicated to Boxers and Oscars Nightclub reunion.

Alternatively look on the Bath and West website.
