That was my cat on page 3 of the Journal
I was delighted and amused to see my cat Simba on page 3 of the Wells Journal on November 1.
He lives in Vicars Close with me and his brother Growl Tiger. They are both very friendly and often visit the small Vicars Close Chapel when the boarders are there.
Simba particularly likes children and will often go to the Junior School playground.
He also likes to wander to the cathedral vicinity and only the other Sunday when I was walking to the cathedral for the 9.45am service I spotted him ahead of me.

Then to my surprise an elderly lady scooped him up and took him into the cathedral (presumably thinking it was Louis, the cathedral cat).
As I arrived the sidesman was trying to encourage Simba back out as he was worried a cat fight might ensue during the first hymn. Louis as you can imagine is very territorial about 'his space'.
