Two arrests after reported stabbing in Minehead

Police cordoned off an area of Minehead this morning after a reported stabbing.

However investigations are ongoing as police are still trying to trace the victim.

Two men were arrested at the scene and an area around The Avenue was cordoned off at 10am this morning for more inquiries to take place.

A police spokesman at the Avon and Somerset force incident room said: "It is being treated as a potential stabbing. But there was no sign of a victim."
