Two appear in court charged with murder of Paul Retallick
A father and son appeared in court today charged with the murder of a man whose body was found at a property in Langport.
Michael McGinty, 55, and son Lee McGinty, 25, appeared at Bristol Crown Court via video link from HMP Dorchester, where they are currently in custody.
Judge Ford QC ordered the pair stay in custody until their next court appearance, on October 16.
Prosecutor Julian Howells said: "The defendants are charged with murder.

"Neither of the defendants are applying for bail."
Defending, Virginia Cornwall said: "Whilst there is no bail application today there may well be one in the future."
Police investigations have been carried out around a home in Iris Way, Langport, after the body of Paul Retallick was discovered on Sunday evening.
