Four airlifted to hospital after head-on crash on B3168 near Ilminster
Four people were airlifted to hospital following a horrific head-on smash near Ilminster that has left one woman fighting for her life.
Fire crews, police, ambulance, and emergency service helicopters attended the accident at 10.40pm last night on the B3168 at Bay Hill, near Dillington.

A Vauxhall Astra driven by a female motorist was in collision with a Vauxhall Corsa containing five people.
Firefighters had to cut free two people trapped in the vehicles, one of which was "time critical", before they were stabilised by paramedics.

The Astra driver, the sole occupant, was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol with a serious head injury where police say she remains in a stable condition.
The woman behind the wheel of the Corsa was flown to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with multiple life-threatening injuries. She is said to be in a critical condition.
The front-seat male passenger was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton with non life-threatening chest injuries.
Two 15-year-old boys in the rear of the car were taken to Frenchay and Yeovil District hospitals. Their condition is not reported to be life threatening.
A six-month-old baby who was also in the Corsa was released after receiving medical treatment.
Two police helicopters, an air-and-sea rescue helicopter and one other unspecified emergency service helicopter attended the scene, along with three fire engines and two Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service rescue tenders.
Police closed the road to allow a detailed examination of the scene. It was reopened shortly before 6am today.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary are appealing for witnesses.
