CATERING students from colleges in Bristol and Weston-super-Mare got the chance to quiz godfather of modern cooking, Marco Pierre White, during a trip to his restaurant in Congresbury.

Students spent time chatting to Mr Pierre White during one of his visits to his steakhouse bar and grill at Cadbury House, which was celebrating its second birthday.

The students were able to find out what inspired him to become the youngest British chef to attain three Michelin stars. The students also helped out in the kitchen preparing canapes for guests.

Restaurant manager Mimmo Pomo said: "It's always great to see Marco. Every time he visits there's a real buzz of excitement.
