Yer Tiz celebrates Somerset
Yer Tiz, written and performed by Bath–based Nick White, is a brand new stage show which explores the magic of Somerset, inspiring audiences young and old to celebrate the wonders of the county.
Suitable for anyone over six years old, this witty and entertaining family show opens at the egg theatre in Bath on Saturday with two performances at 11.30am and 3pm, before touring to nine village halls across Somerset.
When Nick is challenged by his wife to find the perfect place to live in Somerset, he sets out on a quest to choose the best location, travelling without a car, map in hand, from Bath to Glastonbury via Castle Cary, Burnham-on-Sea, Tarr Steps, Norton Fitzwarren, and Chard.
Along the way Nick meets some unlikely inhabitants including a pirate, a dragon and two ghosts, as he embarks on a journey full of surprises, over the course of a day, ending with the promise of ham, egg and chips.
