Yeovil shoppers evacuated from Lidl after malicious phone call
Shoppers were evacuated from a Yeovil store today after staff called police.
Workers at Lidl, on Lyde Road, alerted officers at around 2.50pm after receiving a "malicious phone call".
One man has been arrested.
Wayne Baker, Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesman, said: "Police have arrested a man for making a malicious phone call to a Yeovil store this afternoon.

"It followed the decision by the store in Lyde Road to evacuate the premises as a precaution after receiving the call. The store was re-opened shortly afterwards.
"The man is currently being questioned by police."
