"The store has now reopened and is operating as usual. Police confirmed that this threat was a hoax."

A man has been arrested following the hoax call.

Wayne Baker, Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesman, said: "Police have arrested a man for making a malicious phone call to a Yeovil store.

"It followed the decision by the store in Lyde Road to evacuate the premises as a precaution after receiving the call. The store was re-opened shortly afterwards.
