Yeovil and West Dorset Stop the War Coalition is hosting a film showing tonight.

The documentary, called The Land Speaks Arabic, is about the experience of Palestinians after the Second World War and will be shown at 7:30pm in Unity Hall, Yeovil.

Ken Keable of the Stop the War Coalition, said: “This film exposes the myths and fabrications used to justify the historic dispossession, an injustice that continues to affect us all.”

The hour-long film will be followed by a discussion.

The film features archive footage, interviews with historians and first-hand testimony from surviving witnesses about the growth of Zionism and the fate of Palestinians after the Second World War.

Admission is free and doors open at 7pm for a 7:30pm start at Unity Hall, Central Road, Yeovil BA20 1JL (opposite the bus station).
