Yeovil Town v Preston North End: Glovers must show hunger and desire
Yeovil Town’s current hunger and determination to reach the play-offs should be considered the norm by their players according to manager Gary Johnson.
The Glovers return to Huish Park tonight aiming to extend a run of six npower League One triumphs at the expense of Preston North End.

Another victory – or even draw – would almost certainly see the hosts finally reach the division’s top six, but with both Sheffield United and Brentford in action and also on 51 points, the feat is far from guaranteed.
Yeovil beat rivals Coventry City 1-0 at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday and Johnson said the commitment on display was what he expected every time his team crossed the white line.

“It’s normal for teams that want to win the league and get promotions to show that hunger and desire,” he said.
“We showed good skill at times and every now and then we have got to get a cut eye or cut head and work back and forward, believing we have got that energy and fitness.
“They really put everything into it (at Coventry) and they all deserved their Sunday off.”
Johnson also praised how his team was now challenging League One’s big guns, ahead of a clash with a Preston side struggling for form.
He said: “Our challenge was the bigger teams at one stage, when we couldn’t quite infiltrate those top teams.
“We have done that now all on the trot on difficult surfaces whilst playing a modicum of football. There are no smaller teams, how can you class Preston as a smaller team? They are not having a good run of form and we have got to take advantage of that.
“Every game is difficult and that is why we are five points off the top teams as lower teams are betting teams at the top. It is a very difficult league to get out of.
“If Preston are nervous we have got to take advantage of that.”
