Yeovil Town's board of directors will meet Gary Johnson on Monday to discuss two transfer targets with the manager accepting personnel may have to leave before further arrivals.

The Glovers boss wants to add a pair of players this month after a 2-0 success at Sheffield United took them to within a point of npower League One's play-off spots.

Although remaining tight-lipped on the identity of the duo, speculation continues to surround the future of former loanee Joe Edwards who was not named in Bristol City's match day squad on Saturday.

Johnson said: "I have got to talk to the board on Monday. We are going to have a chat with one or two players that I would like to bring in.

"The squad's still small and then we will have to wait and see. Sometimes you have to move out before you move in, we will have to wait and see.

"They (the directors) had smiles on their faces up there on the Saturday. As long as they have a good Sunday lunch maybe they will still be smiling on Monday."

Three January signings inspired Yeovil to success at Bramall Lane, Paddy Madden - who made a loan deal permanent on New Year's Day - netted twice, whilst Kevin Dawson and Middlesbrough loanee Matt Dolan impressed on their first starts.

"Paddy's never-say-die running has got our two goals," said Johnson. "His blood brother Daws never stopped running.

"I don't know where they went to school or where they lived but they must have ran 50 miles every day to school and back. I love them to death and I'm glad that I was able to give them a chance today.

"Dolan had a really good League debut and looked assured until he got a whack. We are proud of them all and from where we were a few days ago (defeat at Leyton Orient) we have got them right.

"We showed them a few videos in the hotel, gave them a few home truths and picked them up for the game."
