Writhlington School plays hosts to Bath City Academy trials
Talented footballers are being invited to join the Bath City Academy, based at Writhlington School.
The academy is run by former professional Billy Clark and allows players aged under 16 to continue their studies while receiving 10 hours of coaching a week.

Young students will also have the chance to play South West Counties League matches at City's Mayday Trust Park ground.

"The scheme allows players to follow a curriculum similar to a professional footballer, with our long-term aim being to provide a player pathway for individuals to access first-team opportunities."
Students can access a range of courses and will also have the opportunity to complete Level 1 and 2 football coaching certificates, as well as a refereeing qualification.
The programme has been running for more than three years and the squad also play in the English Colleges FA league.
