The new 40 Commando wristbands that have been launched are attracting a lot of attention.

The wristbands, which support the work of and raise money for 40 Commando, can be purchased from a number of outlets around Taunton, where the regiment is based.

Some outlets have sold out and a fresh order is due to be delivered this week.

Wristbands can also be obtained via the 40 Cdo Royal Marines in Afghanistan Facebook webpage.

The Somerset-based regiment deployed to Afghanistan in April and has been based in the volatile Sangin area.

The regiment has lost 14 men during their six-month tour of duty.
