Avenue D 1 Wells B 10
Wells' B side were even more dominant when they won all four matches on their trip to Avenue in Burnham.
Robert Powell and Bruce Preston won both their rubbers in straight sets, recording 6-2, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-3 successes.
Richard Hole and Martin Holiday were equally impressive in their opening rubber, winning 6-2, 6-3, but had to come from behind to win the second 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.
Wells C 8 Woodland C 2
The C team recorded a comfortable home victory, largely down to the fact Woodland could only field one pair.
Mike Lintern and Chris Shering won the first rubber in straight sets after a second-set tie-break. Although Jason Wilton and Dan Cooke went down 7-5, 6-3, Wells took the overall match due to Woodland's lack of players.
Wells D v Congresbury C
Another home victory was secured by Wells' D team when they entertained Congresbury. Thanks to the form of Chris Paterson, Marcus Fisher, Dave Mills and Matt Goatcher, the team currently sit top of their division.
Wells Ladies B 7 Weston Ladies A 4
Wells' ladies' B team continued their winning run despite losing two rubbers against Weston.
Anne Fudge and Kim Hole lost their opening match but turned it around to win the second 6-0, 6-2.
The new pairing of Linda Lester and Judy Scott, having also defeated Weston's second pair in straight sets, fought valiantly against the first pair in a 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 defeat, with the extra set victory handing Wells' overall success.
Wells Ladies C 8 Avenue Ladies C 2
The ladies' C team were also victorious, winning three of four rubbers at home to Avenue.
Jeannie Fullman and Binkie Heather struggled to get any rhythm going but eventually won their opening rubber 7-5, 6-0 before triumphing 6-2, 6-3 in the second.
Clare Mather and Di Wiseman won their first rubber 6-2, 6-0, but found it hard to establish their own game in the second and lost 6-4, 6-1.
