Woman injured in Somerton crash taken to hospital
A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her car ended up on its roof after a crash in Somerton last night.
The woman's Renault Clio overturned in a collision with a Volkswagen Transporter van on Langport Road out of Somerton on Thursday, just before 8pm.

She was not trapped and paramedics treated her at the scene before taking her to Yeovil District Hospital with a fractured arm.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said officers attended and found the Clio on its roof.

He said: "The woman suffered injuries to her hand and her vehicle was upside down.
"A second vehicle had been hit and the road was blocked until 10.15pm."
A fire crew from the town attended and helped to make the scene safe.
