Police in Clevedon investigating an alleged sexual assault of a 26-year-old woman in Tesco car park in the early hours of Sunday morning are appealing for witnesses.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and currently remains on police bail, but investigating officers want to speak to three other men believed to have been playing football in the car park at around 4am.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "They may have been associated with a white van which was also in the car park at the time.

"These men are asked to come forward as they may have information that could be valuable to this investigation."
