An impressive career by anyone’s standards, but more so when you discover that Mark suffers from Spina bifida, a fault in the development of the spinal cord and vertebrae which has left a split in his spine and confined him to a wheelchair.
“I get all my inspiration from my own life experiences, but sometimes music is just a way for me to have some fun and help people have a good stomp,” he said.
Having already written and produced his first demo CD, with the help of Lost4tz Studios last year, he was contacted by Anno Domini Records in New York who has worked with Killah Priest from Wu-Tang Clan, Vinnie Paz from Jedi Mind Tricks, and D12.
Adrian Boeckeler, who founded the company, initially wanted to produce a track with Mark but after a conversation decided to collaborate on the first Kray-Z Legz studio album.
Man of the Street is due to be released on iTunes at the end of this month.
The release will be the start of an exciting start to a year of recording and promoting for Mark.
“All through this year I will promoting the album and also releasing singles and collaborating with local artists,” he said.
“I want to give people who have the same passion for music as the people at Lost4tz Studios the chance to record in a professional studio and work with producers from all over the world.
“We are also producing a video for Channel Aka – so keep your eyes and ears open for this, too.”
