Wells still waiting for Swans money
The Swans of Wells are moving closer to being able to allocate the money raised by last summer's event to local good causes.
Back in November the Journal reported that the Swans' trustees were waiting to hear from the taxman to see how much VAT would be returned to them.
This was expected to happen around the middle of January and Swans director Danny Unwin had provisionally scheduled a meeting for then to decide on the next steps.
The Journal tried to contact Mr Unwin on Tuesday for a progress report and a date for the meeting but he was unavailable.
